He wasn't voted in to treat them well, but to work to do things to the advantage of the US. If I'm right in what I said above then it sounds awful similar to how Admiral Rickover would study people applying to be Nukes in the USN.Yukaphile wrote: ↑Thu Aug 23, 2018 10:34 pm Even people who despise her with a feral hatred have to admit she'd be a "lesser evil." I am upset that he has so many supporters who will bend over backwards to unveil Secret Hidden Messages and Long Game strategies in somebody so impulsive and short-sighted. Competent leaders don't need a secret decoder ring to explain that they aren't raving incompetents.Beastro wrote: ↑Wed Aug 29, 2018 2:09 amI poke a hole in your naked, blind and literal prejudice of him?Fuzzy Necromancer wrote: ↑Wed Aug 29, 2018 2:02 amDon't you DARE pretend that this man has more than a handful of brain cells huddling together for warmth. I see a fanbase that, if this man took a shit on his desk, they would try to spot morse code in the bits of corn.Beastro wrote: ↑Wed Aug 29, 2018 2:27 amYes, yes, politics and business are such straight forward games, uh huh?Fuzzy Necromancer wrote: ↑Wed Aug 29, 2018 2:14 amI am upset that he has so many supporters who will bend over backwards to unveil Secret Hidden Messages and Long Game strategies in somebody so impulsive and short-sighted. He's a terrible human being with values and an outlook on life that's nothing like my own.Fuzzy Necromancer wrote: ↑Wed Aug 29, 2018 2:39 am I see a fanbase that, if this man took a shit on his desk, they would try to spot morse code in the bits of corn.
But he is of use. A lot more than I can say of any Republican President or candidate in your country since I was a kid.
The fact he was a Democract up until he ran is amusingly part of that.

Ah yes. "He is of use". That's why every Republican senator except two is willing to sell their souls for a little bit of power and let him rampage across the nation, attacking the rule of law and fucking over people at random.
He is "of use". Who cares who he is or what he does, as long as we get to push our tax cuts through on a rubber stamp. The reason he previously was a democrat is that he has no true allegiance. He serves only himself.
You didn't really address the corn-in-shit comment. Either he is a useful ass who lets one party get their agenda enacted, or he's a dark genius. He can't be both.
The reason I call him "President Neelix" is because the only skill he has is convincing other people of his non-existent worth.

He's a businessman who saw one side not supply their customers with what they wanted and so took their business~Fuzzy Necromancer wrote: ↑Wed Aug 29, 2018 3:34 am Ah yes. "He is of use". The Republican Establishment played "Either vote for us or let the Democracts win, what else are you going to do?" too long and without any heart in the fight, preferring to be comfortable runner up than either compromise principles or actually act like they were fighting to win.
