I know you've been told many times that children are separated as we don't just take an accompanist adult's word for it that they are the parents and not trafficking children or kidnapping from their legal guardian. How do you propose to make a determination?

Are you saying the children could just not come here?

Are you aware that most of them are aslyum seekers, who have not actually committed a crime?

I see you bending over backwards to justify baby jail.

1. Yes. The children do not need to come into the country illegally. They could come legally.

2. They have committed a crime by entering the country illegally. They can apply for asylum from their home country. Entering the country illegally is not fair on those who do emigrate legally or apply for asylum and should not be rewarded with a pass.

3. I see you make no effort to address the child trafficking that very much happens with illegal crossings of the border. I see you not caring about what happens to the children, just that you don't like what the current administration does when it carries on with a policy from the previous administration.

It isn't the child's fault that they're brought across the border. Therefore, they haven't committed a crime.

And also, technically speaking being an undocumented immigrant isn't even a damn crime.

Those are your opinions, NOT facts. Entering a country without a visa IS a crime subject to detainment and deportation. You also still fail to address the child trafficking and kidnapping.

Robovski, if it IS a crime, then they are entitled to things like a fair hearing, legal representation, presumption of innocence, etc. These things are denied in favor of indefinite detention.

Given that a child pornograph enthusiast is running one of the baby jails, I'm more concerned about our government trafficking these children than the people who run through deserts doing so.

You want facts? It's a fact that you are defending a policy that has children locked up in cages with no release in sight.

2. If it were a crime, putting children in concentration camps--sorry, I mean, 'tender age centers'--and denying the accused the right to a jury trial would be unconstitutional.

3. Child trafficking and kidnapping are still crimes and are (and should!) be handled through the conventional justice system. That's how a civilized society WORKS.
