Code of Honor

This forum is for discussing Chuck's videos as they are publicly released. And for bashing Neelix, but that's just repeating what I already said.

Code of Honor

Post by Durandal_1707 »

Haven't watched the video yet, but I already have a reaction: Wait, this wasn't the TNG Christmas episode? What the heck would possibly be worse than this one?

Why is this back? Did... did SF Debris edit it or something? What happened to warrant this?

It was the Christmas episode. He re-uploaded it. The patreon email said:

"Here is Code of Honor. I've made a few likely unnoticeable changes in the hopes it will stop robots from noticing it. The most noticeable is that it is three parts now instead of one."

It has the same description at the top as before:

"Merry Christmas from Opinionated Next Gen Episode Guide! This year's outing is Code of Honor, where an already embarrassingly bad story is made even worse by being run by a director who seemed to fall through a time warp from 1930. Let's put it this way: it's one of the earliest episodes of TNG, it has a holodeck bit, it has a Wesley bit, and it still manages to be worse than that might imply."

... what changes? I'm a perfectionist. And OCD. I hate changing something that's already perfect... does it have... uggh... new audio?

I know what you mean. I don't agree with how he cut jokes when he reuploaded all of his old Youtube shaky cam vids in HD. To this day I don't understand why he did such a hatchet job on some of those old reviews.

Well, I only discovered his channel in late 2012, so I'll take your word.
