@CharlesPhipps It's pure seething hatred for Democrats, much like this bomber, though obviously more restrained, thank God. Don't ask them to explain it. It's very much irrational, and it's what happens when a demagogue stirs up people's emotions to get them into a frenzy.

Though no, Trump is not Hitler, not even close. Hitler A) Had charisma, and was smarter than Trump B) Actually had credits to his name, both the good, and the bad, and C) Actually killed people.

This is relevant how? As said before, all evidence points to the fact this guy was an older loser who latched onto Trump's blame game. Blame everyone for why you're not succeeding except yourself. Is it that you find the timing a bit "convenient?" Jesus, you say that about rape victims too. That's a sign of excessive paranoia. Maybe it's just this guy got so lost to the cause he sees a blue wave coming and was furious that it seems like Trump is about to have some of his executive power cut back? Not that I think there's a blue wave coming, of course. I don't think we're going to take back Congress, but that's beside the point. And then a few days later, we got someone shooting up a synagogue, likely a white nationalist! How can you deny this? UGH.

A better comparison for Trump is James Buchanan. An astoundingly WEAK, pathetic, incompetent, corrupt asshole who slavishly panders to the far right wing during a metastasizing nationwide social conflict and ridiculously capitulates to demands from loudmouthed assholes.

I detest Trump but that's a thing to be resolved at voting booths.

Good. Because again, you can't judge 60,000,000 people. And they can be "the enemy" without actually being horrible, rotten, disgusting people. Many can be kind-hearted and sensitive and nice even.

Can't argue with that, and that's a serious concern, especially given media manipulations.

Again, I agree, but I think that time has passed. That time was November 8th, 2016.

I'm ignoring it because I tried my hardest, and the sheer destruction done to women's rights in this country, and seeing so many people dismiss and reject the idea that there's still very real oppression going on against women to this day, just made me stop caring. Trump won. We can't legally change that till 2020. And no, I don't advocate assassinating him. We can hate him all we want. We shouldn't wish death on him, even if you want to argue he wasn't elected legitimately. That's something we all should have tried to stop, and too many far left purists didn't want to hold their noses and vote for a women they agreed with on 70% of all issues because "she has girl parts, with like boobs and everything!" I'm just done, done, DONE. I'm not blind to the realities. I just can't stop it. And I don't even want to. Let the world burn. I just wanna take care of those close to me. And to not get demonized by those who do.
