I live about 12 miles from the local headquarters of the KKK, the biker chapters are mostly drug dens with ties to various white supremacy groups (white power Hells Angels, Aryan Brotherhood), and yes I've had the misfortune to watch people I thought were friends openly become Neo-Confederate militants. That's in addition to the Christian identity cults and militias. I'm again, speaking of stuff within 30 or so miles of my hometown of Ashland, KY.

I feel like people are talking from a different reality when they think white supremacy is dead or not dangerous because it's pretty much the fuel of the criminal underworld in Appalachia. They also killed thousands of people every year either through the opiod crisis or fighting for control over it.

Calling Trump a Nazi is hyperbole. I say that as a man who hates them.

Because it's not like the actual Nazis are hiding in my part of the woods.

Lots of good people here, just the bad ones have been left to rot and fester by the McConnell controlled state government. He is a white supremecist but his primary victims are trying to kill off the poor whites in the state. Letting the drug epidemic run wild while killing every single social service he can and making it impossible to live exaggerrates the situation. Some people radicalize or look for someone to blame. These bottom feeders pick them up.

On Justified, they got one thing right in that most of the criminals were some flavor white supremecist or at least gave it lip service but it's arguably much worse in reality.

It's just organized crime=Nazi around here.

A lot of these neo or full-fledged Nazis and KKK and ultra white nationalists are also those who believe in white genocide. And yeah, the US will be mostly Latino by 2050. But decreasing white populations play a factor, not just a wave of new immigrants. Whose fault is that? Yeah, we're going to have consensual sex whether these religious freaks like it or not. White has never been a community, it's always been a vile gatekeeping that just favors violence as well as eugenics.

Then again, I am not appalled by the idea of mixed couples or the idea people will succeed or fail on their own merits.

Shit, I'm a blend of mostly French, British, and German. What does that make me? Nothing. I'm white as snow, but white isn't a culture or community. We belong to several. That includes Latinos. 1. Given the recent political ads, I'd say that...yes they have.

2. Yes, "whites" do. My ancestors were subject to genocide by the British via starvation. They were subject to eugenic sterilization. They were treated as subhuman until OOOOps, suddenly Irish are white now.
