For some of you, this is a feel-good story because I want to post something positive.
For others it will be a good way to piss you off.

This is great news.

What is this madness? Europeans are trying to help foreigners? THIS. CANNOT. BE.
Like any other conservative, I am triggered and alarmed by compassion. I'm going to go hide under my statue of Richard Nixon and hit myself in the head with rolled-up copies of National Review until my normal mean-spiritedness reasserts itself.

I'm actually quite fond of National Review...one of my go-to reads every morning. Sure, dumb stuff finds its way into NR...but the same can be said for the New York Times, or frankly anything that publishes on a regular basis. I don't always agree with guys like David French or Kevin Williamson, but they generally put forth reasonable arguments, even if I don't find them to be always compelling. Sadly, something broke inside of Victor David Hanson a few years ago. He's getting awfully hard to slog through these days.
But yeah, the idea that you're going to 'piss someone off' by posting a story about people trying honestly to help each other is...well frankly it's like something I would have expected out of Ann Coulter a few years ago. We're all just humans here.

If you thought this is something that would piss people off you need to rethink your perspectives Fuzzy.

Honestly, I'm relieved that it's not pissing people off. I've gotten very bitter and cynical.

Me too. The world sucks. Hate this filthy, flaming shithole we call a planet.

I haven't read National Review in a while, but I used to enjoy it. I admit I chose it at random, but I wish I could have said I picked that for cranial impact because it's particularly hard-hitting.LittleRaven wrote: ↑Fri Nov 30, 2018 7:16 pm I'm actually quite fond of National Review...one of my go-to reads every morning.
