Queue Speed
Queue Speed
Anyone want to chip in how long it took from submitting a request to the video being scheduled?
Re: Queue Speed
IIRC Darmok took a year, but that was a few years back, prior to the Queue being so unwieldy that Chuck had to close it.
I now get monthly requests due to Patreon, so I can't judge (Though some lucky people who request the same thing I do get their stuff bumped up the queue)

Re: Queue Speed
I first made a payment toward Ergo Proxy in January 2014, and he hasn't started it yet. :/ Didn't he say he had like a 3 year long queue, though? Those episodes of GitS went quicker, but that was fairly early into him doing anime. I'm honestly not surprised him starting anime was like opening the floodgates for him.

Re: Queue Speed
I heard that Trek episodes go fastest (18 months maybe?), then non-Trek drama shows like B5 were about 3 years, and animation/anime was about 5 years. Think that was in a patreon Q&A but can't remember off the top of my head.

Anyone know the rate for feature films?

That makes sense. Trek gets done every week but everything else has to be divided up along the year.nebagram wrote:I heard that Trek episodes go fastest (18 months maybe?), then non-Trek drama shows like B5 were about 3 years, and animation/anime was about 5 years. Really excited for Ergo Proxy, thanks for that request Admiral.
