It is disturbing that a moderator might be influenced by a foreign government, but I take everything on the internet with a big 'ol grain of salt anyway. Some sites I've abandoned or ignore just on the basis of crazy or political bias as is (e.g., Bleeding Cool, Trekmovies), and you can find people proclaiming the earth to be flat every day.

I fall into the camp of thinking that Flat Earth Society is largely a thought experiment in the realm of epistemology to approach certain subjects.
