Democrats use "Russian Inspired Tactics" in 2017 Alabama Senate Election

Post by Antiboyscout »

https://www.washingtonpost.com/business ... bbe13ef73e

"This person said Dickerson used $100,000 of that to hire New Knowledge, a Texas-based social media research firm, to work in Alabama in support of Jones during the special election in December 2017."

How much did the Russians spend on the entire 2016 elections again?

Uh, do you not get that the problem with the alleged Russian interference wasn't the style of tactics, but the fact that it happened to begin with? If Russia bought TV spots for political ads, it would not therefore follow that TV political ads are immoral.

I thought "Fake News" and misinformation was always immoral.

Or are things only immoral when a Russian touches them...
or when they help republicans?

Well they weren't exactly buying superbowl ads. They probably spent money on more cheaper commercials as per what was discussed above.

I've heard 12 Thousand for just FaceBook ads. I know it's more than that, but I never heard multiple millions.

Well the Russian Ruble is worth about 1.5 USD cents, so my upper estimate of $105,000 doesn't sound too far off from that for consideration.
