I just need to ask what your definition of an "arts" degree is please.

I ask because a friend of mine got a bachelors in psychology 'arts' as opposed to 'science' and the difference as I was told is did your electives support the primary course.

I'm speaking mainly from my association with Clinton voters, primarily older women, in 2016. Many of them mistrust Sanders so much, they refused to vote for anyone associated with him. I know Tulsi Gabbard is associated with him. And look at how well his chosen candidates have done. I repeat. She stands no chance.

Hillary said, ""I believe marriage is not just a bond but a sacred bond between a man and a woman." Then she changed her mind. As far as being to the right of Clinton, in many ways yes, she is, and that's part of what I find intriguing. I'm hardly going to vote for some intersectionalist.

It's just me, but I'm far more judgmental of anti-gay sentiments from people of my generation that I am from people of older generations.

You can dig up video clips or articles from years ago for any of the left-wing darlings wherein they express anti-gay marriage and anti-illegal immigration sentiments. It amuses me to see the left attack Gabbard, because the main reason behind it seem to be that she is actually quite anti-war. In ever other way she is in lock-step with the Democratic Party, yet because she isn't a warhawk, people are digging up stuff she said in the '90s to use as ammunition against her. Yet when people have dug up clips of Clinton and Obama saying the same exact things they are giving Trump crap over saying (including the part about wanting a wall), they bend over backwards to excuse it. DoubleThink is a funny thing.

Setting that aside, the wording in that quoted passage is telling.
She says specifically that she still believes anyone advocating for LGBTQ rights is "an extremist", but that she would not impose those views on others due to seeing that in action in Iraq.

In other words "I'd like to oppress queer people, but that would make me like the muslims" Two for one bigotry!

This is not the belief system of someone trustworthy to hold public office, nor someone capable of representing the United States and all its citizens.

She literally said neither of those things. If straw man arguments are the best you can give, I like her even more.

I assumed. the ability to phrase blindingly bigoted subtext in a way not perceptible to them is the most important trait most conservatives look for in their politicians.

Another assumption on your part. Sorry, but if your evidence is all imaginary then your conclusions have no weight.

Hey, don't pretend Sanders was always in favor of gay marriage. In Vermont, they called him Senator Wishy-Washy on the topic. He changed his mind when there was only enough support to be politically safe to do so. And so what? Obama changed his mind. Clinton isn't allowed to evolve on something? Why? Is it because she's a woman? An uppity woman who never learned her place 30 years ago to stay in the kitchen like a good First Lady and bake cookies and support her husband rather than act as a second President, which irked the conservatives in power to no end? Bah!
