It annoys me to no end how the hack writers of Season 2 think that "dark matter" is just like Nibbler's dark matter poop (futurama).
I wouldn't be surprised if that's where they picked up the term dark matter (and the idea that 1 teaspoon weighs a ton)---brought to you by the same hacks who used "cold fusion" to restart a volcano.

What is Nibbler's dark matter poop...? I'm afraid to ask...

It's poop... that is dark matter... excreted by a creature named Nibbler.

Also, cold fusion can restart a volcano? This is the same science where a supernova can blow up a galaxy?

Sure, the more level headed reviews like Chuck or Trekyards are better for getting an idea of the show, but I do enjoy me an hour long rant about why it sucks.
However his sources in the past have not been consistently reliable. So take all the rumors with a grain of salt, and even the "confirmed" news with at least a bit of skepticism.
Protip: Don't use alt-right buzzwords, they turn off anybody who isn't alt-right. And there ain't that many alt-right asshats in the world.

Wow, dude. You've never been on the Internet, have you?
"Cuck" is strongly associated with the alt-right, it developed from the MRA faction of the alt-right calling moderate Republicans "Cuckservatives" and refers to a man who is insufficiently misogynistic by MRA standards (i.e. one who tolerates a woman being "uppity"or shit like that). I don't trust anyone who uses alt-right memes and terminology in a serious context.

Well, I have no respect for the modern MRA, so... I guess I understand. That said, it's just a word. If people who are not misogynistic use it, that's fine with me. My Latino best friend calls me "gringo." It's all fine depending on the context.

You want someone ranting about TLJ, Mauler has a detailed point-by-point analysis of every single finicky detail he didn't like about that movie. Five hours of analysis of how it fails on every level, when quite frankly he could've summed it up as "a bunch of decent ideas were screwed over by hack writers who created a shitty incoherent plot with insufficient attention paid to character, theme, or structure".clearspira wrote: ↑Mon Jan 28, 2019 1:00 am Seriously though, its a great hook, and no one will be suprised to hear I love me someone ranting about STD or TLJ with style.
He's also doing a detailed analysis of TFA in the same manner, which is something I've wanted for literally years because TFA is if anything WORSE than TLJ because at least TLJ made an effort.
Re: Sta Trek Discovery season 2 megathread
I know enough about it to know that it started out due to a large number of male feminists being literal cuckolds. Some of them were even nice enough to write articles about how awesome and feminist they were because they got off on the fact that their wives would go out on dates with and fuck other men. Of course the right's version of SJWs just took that and ran with it, and it basically just became a general insult that they use much like the left likes to use "Nazi" or "alt-right" - basically just an insult meant to shock them and hopefully shut them up while hopefully convincing others to not put any stock in anything they said.
