That's what I was referring to with regards to "Homeward..." the TNG episode...

Well then I guess there's not much to say about Janeway with a template of that type of scenario.

Of course there is. She'd beam them back down on the first habitable planet if not their dead world without a care in the world.

Her actions are so inconsistent, she would let people die for the Prime Directive, and has said so before. On a good day, it'd be the former. On a bad day? The latter.

I would hope they can tell new stories that don't tread on the same old roads we've been down a million times before. They could avoid this problem altogether. Let's go new places, dramatically.
As a long-time fan, I'm sick of the suits constantly trotting out the same old characters, plots, and catch-phrases. That's not what I want to see. But given the premise of this show, I guess I'm already out of luck.

I am sure Hitlerina with her own show will explore some new ground...Deledrius wrote: ↑Thu Jan 31, 2019 1:09 am I would hope they can tell new stories that don't tread on the same old roads we've been down a million times before. I hope it won't be a disaster...

It has all the ingredients it needs for one. It's really hard to be hopeful about such a stupid idea.Slash Gallagher wrote: ↑Thu Jan 31, 2019 7:54 am I am sure Hitlerina with her own show will explore some new ground...
