You know what this site would be in the early '00s?

"No blood for oil!"

"Don't cut and run!"

"Bush is Hitler!"

"If you don't like it you can git out!"

Oh, and probably, "That shit finances terrorism!"

So not terribly different from today. :D

Listening to what people who say in a Facebook / Twitter bubble looks like a horrible idea.
Then don't do that?
I fail to see how college inherently makes someone better at predicting or analyzing politics.
Inherently? I know that not everybody takes social science heavy curriculums, and yeah there's always questionable mindsets that come out of even those programs, but higher education overall enhances critical assessment of affairs through empirical based training.
I indicated that i do that?

I am not sure that i see clear evidence...
I'm not sure what you specifically would have to do with it.

WAY FUCKING DIFFERENT.

Sci Fi section unflooded by politics.
Very rare celebrations of people fired for somethign trivial.
Social liberals without a zealot branch that goes hyperauthoritarian.
No endless gender and feminist talk minus for some small pockets...
Let's just not even talk about the media being more conductive toward at least racial tension relaxation
i could go on and on...

It would have been like rpg.net, which went very political from Al Gore losing the election onwards.
