Assuming you agree with me and that you feel him toning down his video content is for the worse, then what do you feel would be the Golden Age of the reviews of SF Debris? For me, I can name mine easily - from 2013 to late 2014. It didn't have the baggage of some of his earlier reviews, like rampant insensitivity, yet it also didn't feel sedate to the point of numb muteness like we can sometimes get now. There was a lot of thought-provoking discussion, and it made me appreciate a lot of my favorite episodes a lot more - especially the Romulan intrigue on TNG. Or how Enterprise had a lot of good episodes once Berman and Braga took their hands off the reins. It was also the time of his swan song - the KOTOR review! ^_^
Again, won't take part, just want your guys' thoughts and to get this discussion going?

I don't know. I can't remember when specifically various reviews were done, for the most part. I think things are still great right now.

I disagree with the premise, sorry.

Wow. You are running with this one, ain't ya? Going to break this one to you gently: you are the only one that thinks we have left it.
(And I don't know what anyone else thinks, but this should be General Discussion)

Actually I think it was "Enemy Within" and Chuck's failure to, in Yuka's view, sufficiently criticize the assault on Yeoman Rand by id-Kirk. This is seen as a sign of decline in quality as opposed to Chuck simply having nothing to say on the subject beyond the obvious bad in it, save a joke at the end aimed at the Kirk/Spock shippers.Makeshift Python wrote: ↑Sun Feb 03, 2019 8:05 am You're still upset he didn't eviscerate DIS enough? I actually liked the "Retrospect" review, though. But I still stand by my view the reviews have been somewhat toned down, and that someone else (I forget who) agrees with me is validating enough. It isn't that he didn't tear STD apart, though. Please don't assume, cuz you know what they say when you assume.
And even if you disagree, I guess you can still think that we're living in the Silver Age, but what do you think would be the Golden Age, to go with the comic books analogy? Because it is undeniable the show has worn a lot of flavor of "hats" over the years, from Romulan Summer to all the various quirks he's had over the years.

One other person, who's name I can't remember, agrees with me! Therefore we are right and you're all wrong. I... never said I was right and you're all wrong. It's just my opinion.

Saying that nobody can believe the current era of SFDebris is anything more than a "Silver Age" is very much saying that there is a right and wrong answer to this question.
You also said you weren't participating in the discussion, and here you are. However I'm of the mind that if you are going to start a conversation then you should intend to participate in it, so of that I'm glad you are participating. Just stop telling people they are wrong and then claiming that you never said such things.
