Unless you also have a channel I am not aware of, you are a man who just admitted to the world that this film you have never seen means so much to you that you are going to go out of your way to lie.Makeshift Python wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 9:55 pmMore so than Doomcock.clearspira wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 9:46 pm I guess we now know which of us is more open to being proven wrong huh?

Apparently Canada isn't too happy about Brie Larson.

Must be angry DC fans.

I mean, this is how modern discourse is conducted apparently, so yes, that's all we really needed so we can ignore what anyone has said. I know you were being sarcastic, but honestly I ran out of sarcasm halfway through posting this.Zoinksberg wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 9:58 pm Are you kidding? Python just gave an out to anybody that hates it later to screencap his comment as proof that it only got positive reviews because of leftist trolls!
Isn't that what we all want? That one person we can show was acting in bad faith for "the other side" so we can discount their entire argument? I know that's all I want when I'm looking for a reason to ignore an entire group of people.
We must dissent. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwqN3Ur ... l=matsku84

Yes. Because that is exactly what I would expect you to do based on our conversations thus far. Also, perhaps you should look up Poe's Law.Makeshift Python wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 10:08 pmYou really believed that I was being earnest with that post, didn't you?clearspira wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 10:01 pm you are a man who just admitted to the world that this film you have never seen means so much to you that you are going to go out of your way to lie.

Well, it's your right to see things how you want to see. I figured my post was absurd enough not to be taken seriously. It is after all a satire of trolls who downvote a film without having seen it. After all, that's what the hubhub was over Rotten Tomatoes and the review bombing.clearspira wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 10:51 pm Yes. Speaking of Poe's Law, I did have a winking smiley at the end of that post to at least give a hint of parody. Interesting how that's been ignored.
Personally, I'm just looking forward to being entertained in a matinee screening, not "prove" something over the internet. After all, I wanted to like GHOSTBUSTERS '16, but that was just a disappointingly unfunny film by talent I expected better from.

The Rotten Tomatoes hubub I know of was about people who wanted to see the movie or not, which is normally done by people who have not seen the movie.Makeshift Python wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 11:17 pmWell, it's your right to see things how you want to see. General consensus seems to be it's a fine, safe Marvel movie that doesn't really excel in anything. I'll watch it and see. Haven't disliked a Marvel movie yet (though Thor1/2 and IM2 are kind of meh).

He literally added a winky face. Did he really need to add /sarcasm for you people to get it?clearspira wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 10:51 pmYes.
