That'll sure help them repay those loans...

Classical liberal might say that the debt is to the particular loan institutions and not the state licensing board.
..What mirror universe?
Re: Florida Board of Health suspends med licenses over student loan defaults
The big problem with student loan debt is that most of those loans are government-guaranteed, so if the student defaults, the taxpayer picks up the tab.
The proper thing to do is to make those loans dischargeable in bankruptcy, but to go after the colleges to repay the balance.
Honestly, we need to confiscate the massive endowments of places like Harvard in order to fund massive student loan debt forgiveness. Big college is overcharging people and needs to be brought to heel.

College tuition rates have been increasing at far past the rate of inflation for decades now. I'd rather that get tackled than just saying, "make the government pay for it" for obvious reasons. Or, better, the development of a parallel system of higher education, a system of Internet-delivered courses followed by testing in controlled situations as is used for many professional certifications.
Re: Florida Board of Health suspends med licenses over student loan defaults
So I noted that the state is supposed to send a 15 day (Assume business days?) warning of the loss of licensing. So why were so many ignored? Either the notices were not sent, or they were discarded. The only reason I can see to discard them is they appear to be phishing for feed back and people toss it like a publisher's clearing house notice.
Also question, why would Florida decide to take such a drastic action when it is being removed in other states?

Is that ever a question that needs to be asked about Florida?
