I was back in high school getting thoroughly bored with Foundation and going to read Flashman instead.

Classic Series would be Three. He's the best of the Sixties Camp Espionage movement (Avengers, Man From UNCLE, some of Batman) all in one dandy of a man. Modern Era would be Ten with Thirteen right behind. Ten was my first and I love Tennant in everything he's in, with Thirteen really growing on me over Season Eleven. I have high hopes for Season Twelve.

Seven the anarchist chessmaster, with Ten as a close second, though that may be largely because he was my first.

If I had to choose from the classic era... now that I don't know, tbh. Eccleston's performance is just so great, I know no other modern Doctor will compare. But for the classic one? Well, I'm torn between Baker (Tom Baker) and Sylvester McCoy. Though the Second Doctor REALLY impresses me given how far I'm advancing into Who - namely in that he REALLY feels like a sci-fi alien Batman.

At this time? Four. Though Seven is very nearly equal. Of the new ones, Ten.

Second is really growing on me, as I said. Just finished "The Enemy of the World" and in fact created a "Ramon Salamander's Fate" thread, and... damn.
