Unusual for a mass shooter. Most of them seem to off themselves.

His manifesto (if that is what it was) said he wanted to live, to continue his work.

Since he seems to have a political intent, is it ok to classify him as a terrorist? I mean, he still is a mass shooter obviously but he is a terrorist mass shooter right?

The manifesto I read was taken down, but he called himself a terrorist and I think he said he wanted to create an atmosphere of fear, and it was for political reasons. I think he's clearly a terrorist.

He's committing violence with the express purpose of forcing political action. I don't see any way in which he ISN'T a terrorist.

I see Islam as being no different than Christianity - no surprise given I'm a strong spiritualist and reject organized religion. I think it holds us back as a species.

Some people on the political left blamed Chelsea Clinton for the Christchurch shootings.

Anybody trying to perform the "propaganda of the deed" nowadays really is delusional. You can't make a massive change in people by doing something crazy any more than spitting in the Pacific Ocean would make it wetter.

I hope some people are affected by this.

Some people realize how shameful and evil the shooter is.

And some people who realize how heroic and noble the defender was.
