The article talks about toxic behaviors like the harassment Tran or Boyega received, and how that can reflect poorly on the fandom as a whole and make things toxic for everyone, which is not an attack on all fans. It even talked about positive aspects of fandom.

Literally the first line he singles out "loud fans". The rest of the article he is talking about how him critiquing aspects of the fandom caused said section to engage in the exact sort of behavior he was critiquing. Here is a literal quote from the article:
Let me be very clear, folks: I don't care if you hated Space Vegas. I don't care if you thought Luke's characterization was wrong. I don't care if you hated Kylo's shirtless scene. I'm not talking about you! I very clearly differentiate between fans who dislike the film for legitimate creative reasons and the fans who piled on the film because they don't agree with Lucasfilm's casting of non-white actors and some of its progressive themes. These are two very different groups. Fans are more than welcome to dislike The Last Jedi for legitimate filmmaking reasons. (To an extent, that is. I mean, calm down.) What's not fine is the pervasive online harassment of actors like Kelly Marie Tran, who was driven off social media because of racist and misogynist attacks.
RTFA.
Another article that is singling out people who attacked Tran. If you didn't, then it's obviously not talking about you.

This one goes a little further in trying to connect it with political and social goings-ons, and YMMV with how well it applies, but it's still not saying "Star Wars fans are racist" or whatever, it's also still saying "bad actors in fandom can turn the entire fandom toxic".
RTFA.
Also, if your only supposed problem with these articles is clickbaity titles, then why were you acting like they were attacking entire fandoms when every single article clearly goes out of its way to say they aren't? Quantifying is irrelevant, because when you boil it all down most of what they're saying is, "Harassment is bad, and we should call it out when it happens to make fandoms better", which shouldn't be a controversial opinion. But I guess if you want to make it one, go ahead.
