Which people? Or, if I associate a leftist's hat with Antifa, am I allowed to assault them?
I mean if it's war right along side people waving Confederate flags and nazi arm bands while all parties are shouting Jews will not replace us, it might be a racist symbol.

I couldn't parse that.

Do you "safe space" as in being called with a pronoun you don't identify with, or "safe space" as in not being assaulted for wearing a hat somebody doesn't like? Then of course there are probably places where someone wearing a MAGA hat isn't wanted; going there could be a waste of time.
Safe space as in being denied service or being subjected to an unwanted mariachi band or having people shout at you. But hey, free speech and private enterprise aren't important unless it's against gays.

If you're going to be denied service then why go there? That isn't about hurt feelings, it's practicality. Not being shouted at might be thought of as a safe space, though I think being shouted at and having a picture of people covered in coal dust on the wall (one lefty called that "blackface" ) could be different degrees of safe-spaciness.

The second thing was a straw man argument.

What, you have never heard anybody associate Muslims with hatred and violence? Never heard of someone gettimg uncomfortable when a guy walks in wearing a headscarf? You must live in a better world than I.

I mean, unless you thought my comments were about anybody other than Muslims. But to be clear, I said people should not be harassed for their beliefs. Think you may have misread.

I'm against stereotyping all Muslims as "leftists." There's those in other countries, and even Muslims here might feel voting is pointless, like me.

Most men who wear headscarves are Sikhs, not Muslims.
