I didn't write that I wear dresses, I wrote I am wearing long skirts.

Think of this kind of clothing-item:

Minus the abs, plus some blubber. And what alternative are you actually thinking about?

I'm not. Not yet anyways.
Honestly my only other thought was that you were transgender.

Huh, didn't think of that, true. But nope, I'm about as average a manly male pig as it can get.

@Mander Kami Wow, you're German? So there's less stigma than with Americans. Cool.

Not even gonna get into the whole Nazi thing.

Yup, I am about as german as it can get without certain uniforms and goose-stepping. Dark-blond, 1.9m tall, blue-eyed and I thought I mentioned my national background once or twice in discussions with you Image

Anyways, there's still stigma, you'll generally just not get openly antagonized, ostracised and outright dismissed by anyone. At worst you'll probably be treated like a curiousity. Disregarding Nazis and the like of course.

I don't recall.

Well, it is the West. Guess that has to be expected...

Heh, this theme reminded me of this video. For background, it was released during the height of the refuge crisis in 2016 and Jan Bömermann is a rather famous satirist and TV presenter.

I do think that this is largely representing the modern german population's attitudes surprisingly well. As said, there are still plenty of issues with Nazis and other far-right (and far-left as well) elements, which got especially apparent during the refugee crisis and the jury is still out on how bad it actually is (the next general elections will be rather important in that regard).

I'd rather not discuss the Nazi situation in Germany, tbh.

Wasn't aiming for that at all. The video is actually anti-right and satirical in nature. Getting the feeling you are misunderstanding the title of the video there ;)

This is also getting horrendously off topic, and I know, it's STD, it's Trek, we've discussed it to death, but... I really wanna get back to topic, cuz... the mods might shut it down then.

Nah he won't. A good detour can be rather enlightening at times and Clearspira is on point with his comment regarding this thread ;P

Also, this thread was created by Slash Gallagher, so let's ruin and off-topic a thread that you did not create for a change of pace :)
