This is a person who spent 3 hours loudly arguing that we should stop funding the Special Olympics and steal 8 billion dollars or so from our already cash-strapped Department of Education. Rich shitheads like DeVos don't understand hardship. Take her stuff, redistribute it to real people who will actually value it, and throw her in prison for a year or two. Or better, community service. Will she be upset? Sure. I bet you the Christchurch shooter is upset that he's going to get life without parole.

Again, there is fair and equitable punishment that fits the crime, and then there is just revenge. The latter is all you've done. All you want to do is to nurse an erection over how much someone else is suffering.
Oh, and BTW, one part of what BCM is getting at is that if you lower the threshold of crime to such pathetic levels as this and tack on such high level draconian punishments as what you want; the chances of someone deciding that YOU have slighted someone else for something equally pathetic and seeking to put that erection of yours on a chopping block alongside her becomes extremely high. You can't pick and choose. You want to ignore the Eighth, then fine. But that goes both ways.
