Exactly what it says on the tin. Who would win?

The one who's not overwhelmed by his powers and has more experience. Q all the way.

I tend to feel that way, myself. But is there no chance for Bruce Almighty with his God powers? I mean, he wiped out a few stars from the cosmos, pulled the moon closer, and even made Evan babble gibberish.

If he truly has ALL of Gods' powers, then Bruce.

But Morgan Freeman might have been lying.

Couldn't Q just erase him prior to receiving God's powers? Bruce, for all his vanity, never tried the obvious solution to just fricking rewind time when his girlfriend caught him making out with that other woman.

Morgan Freegod did lie, how else could you explain that Bruce only bit by bit got access to all the powers? Most prominently, think about how it took quite a while for Bruce to hear everyone's prayers. Thus, Bruce does not have all the powers, it's just god giving him a bit of his power or, what I actually suspect, given Morgan Freegod is all-knowing, he just does what Bruce wants to do for him in any given moment, so it's never Bruce in the first place.

Difficult to say. In Death Wish, the suicidal Q said that the Q are not as all-powerful as they pretend to be. What that means wasn't explained. Maybe you just can't run Crysis on a Q.

If both are comparable in power, the victory might go to the smarter one. In TNG, Q said that he had an IQ of 2005, which suggests that Q doesn't know how IQ scores work. :) To be fair, IQ might mean something different by then. Based on my personal impression, though, I think Q is smarter than Bruce, and has a lot more knowledge to use that intelligence with.

20 quatloos on Q!

Well,
Micah wrote:The current convention is that IQ test results are scaled to fit a normal distribution with mean 100 and standard deviation 15. This means that an IQ of 2005 corresponds to a score which is 127 standard deviations above the mean (since (2005-100)/15=127), which would mean that roughly 1 in 10^3505 people are as intelligent as Q is
Though they may have changed the standard deviation of IQ by the time of TNG.

The problem is that the Q exist far outside the concept of dimensions, time, space, life, death, while Bruce... is still a mortal man, just with God powers.
