Re: Jim Carrey VS Alessandra Mussolini BEATDOWN
Carrey getting caught up on McCarthy’s bullshit has always been a crushing disappointment to me: much as some of his work in the 90s plays to awful stereotypes, what worked really worked, and his dramatic stuff in the early 00s was hella good. Heck, i’d Count Eternal Sunshine among my favorite movies.
That said him dunking on the heir of a world-famous fascist (by most counts Ms Mussolini is a senator in Italy and peddles basically the velvet gloves version of her grandfather’s brand of fascism... which makes sense considering she KEPT THE NAME) is still a treat.
Dammit Jim why can’t you advocate for autism acceptance and donate to vaccination programs or something, leave this shot behind.
