In Britain we are in one of our hottest years going - we barely even had a winter, so much so that the seasonal flowers and creatures are distinctly out of season. Last year we had a heatwave that lasted so long it dried up lakes with 2000 year old Roman ruins beneath.

Climate change is a real thing, and anyone who understands how to read a rising curve on a temperature graph for the last twenty years can see that.
