So nothing the abridged report didn't already say.

Welp that was a useful expenditure of time. I mean lets be real everyones just trying to run out the clock to 2020 trying to make things as substance-less as possible because Odin forbid we give the Opioid Epidemic some air time. You want a real national emergency? That's a good one.

Heathcare is a mess. The Police are still getting away with murder. Journalists are being killed or thrown in jail. The market is another bubble and is likely about to crash again.

Just saying it'd be nice if we could spend a bit of time educate people on... ya know issues facing the nation...?

They found some dirt. Not on Trump, and not the dirt they were looking for, but maybe it is good to take a hard look at officials and get some hauled off to the hoosegow once in a while.

We learned that some celebrities will cry cover-up if an investigation doesn't get the results they want.

Other than that, some politicians got found out in some things as a side effect, and that's good. But it may have (perhaps temporarily) hurt some news sources a lot more than it hurt Trump.

I'm not debating that just this has been the ONLY conversation in the media for months and I was sick of it months and months ago. The endless coverage of this one thing has been basically it. They give Andrew Yang like ... 2 minutes of air time and the dude is one the more fascinating candidates running for president.

That was a good interview if way too short.

Do people really give a damn about healthcare?! Yeah, Sanders claims people do, and yes, there's still reform to do, but overall, most centrists, and we're the majority, tend to think Obamacare works well enough, just needs to be expanded, it did its job well. Healthcare isn't what I care about in politics, tbh. And it's frankly becoming irritating that that's all the far left seems to care about while turning a blind eye to the real issues of prejudice against women and minorities. Healthcare is not the only thing going on in this country.

I will agree the Mueller investigation was just a big waste of time. Yeah, they got Manafort, but so what? He was treated with kid gloves because "those barbaric liberals are so awful!" Sigh... it was just... like the Democrats wanted revenge for Benghazi, and wanted revenge after eight years of obstruction. They'll rationalize this many ways. The other side is pure evil, when they do it, it's wrong, when we do it, we're holding out the line to stop them from hurting everything we cherish and love. Only that's what they think. They're just so consumed with destroying each other that NOTHING is getting done. I will concede the GOP started this in 2008 once Obama won, but we're past that now. You don't defeat the enemy by becoming the enemy. You should try to stick true to your values. And it's becoming very sad when Trump talks about how pointless this all was? This investigation? And you begin to see the dumbass has a point... and it's all just so bleak and dreary and really, what is the point of it all? REALLY?!

These are not unrelated topics. In fact, they are connected in very important ways. I don't doubt that you care about the plight of minorities and women, but you're missing an important piece of the conversation if you don't see how (lack of access to) healthcare contributes to that very problem.

I find many far-lefters to be tone-deaf when it comes to healthcare. That's become their new pet issue, and everything else can take a backseat, it seems like. Hell, Sanders himself praised how Castro's Cuba had "excellent healthcare!" True, I think gun ownership should be a privilege and healthcare a right, but most people tend to seem satisfied with their health insurance, at least where I live. You're right there's still work to do, but on healthcare, I do think if the cause is important enough, you should bend on this a little. Compromise if it's getting in the way of another, even bigger political issue. That's not what I saw from Sanders' SJW troll army. It was "single-payer or nothing" to their purity mindset, in that if they couldn't have it, they would ruin it for everyone else, thinking if we did have it, it'd lead to a Socialist paradise "like in Europe." They're really, really dumb.

It's not a petty preference or some threat of retribution. It's because it's the only way for a socialized healthcare system to work effectively. There are some systems where a hybrid can only end up being the worst of both worlds. It's like trying to invent a combination colander and fire-brigade bucket. If you compromise and make a bucket with just a single big hole it in, it's going to suck at being a colander when the food falls out and as a bucket it'll be empty before you ever get it to a fire, too.

People are too concerned with the "mindset" (real or imagined) of the people making an argument when we really need to be discussing the actual merits and demerits of the argument itself.
