It's simultaneously reassuring and distressing that when it comes to humans, you can rely on the following rule:

I just hadn't known of that particular fetish being out there, looked it up, and was glad I wasn't eating.

I know, right? It's one of the few things I really have a hard time wrapping my head around in regards to why people get off on it or even just like looking at it. But then I remind myself that people make an effort to have an eye on even the most horrific accidents all the time and that I myself, always liked HR Giger's work. Though I don't get off on it and I doubt the vast majority of people trying to catch a glimpse of that horrific road accident do either. Or do we?

Never put the name of ANY female character into Deviantart is a rule of thumb here. You really do see what people mean about the objectification of women if you run a back to back search for ''Superman'' and ''Supergirl'' on that site it has to be said.
There is Superman - proud, heroic, strong, saving the day...
There is Supergirl - boobs out, being inflated, being half cat, being eaten, being tied up...

Some people find Kate Winslet's scene in the weird 1999 film Holy Smoke to be like something from a porn film, and... I can't imagine why. Google "Naked Kate Winslet Holy Smoke" if you're curious. I think even the poor actress herself was embarrassed...
