Oh something I hadn't noticed before.
When there looking at that red monitor for how to find the bridge and jump start communications, at one point it looks like a triangle with a circle at the center.
OMG. THIS PLACE ISN'T JUST CRAWLING WITH ZOMBIE VULCANS. IT'S COMMANDED BY BILL CIPHER!

Sushi is meat. T'Pol is obnoxious to people who eat meat.
Also, trillium is different from the drug T'Pol was using. Just goggled that on Memory Alpha.

Okay, I think I see the pattern now. I think we're following T'pol's character development. Chuck went with T'pol's assault in season 1, now we're seeing what caused T'pol's unraveling due to trellium D in season 3. We're not seeing her being ostracized by being one of the few with the, sigh, psychic STD, but it could come up in the future, next would probably be Home in season 4, and then the Vulcan trilogy.
Just a guess, though.
Just a guess, though.
Re: Star Trek (Ent): Impulse
Would have been way cooler for T'Pol to actually grow, but instead her main thing seems to be going to Phlox at the end of the episode to be diagnosed with more brain damage.
Also, Spock only dealt in healthy Ontario-style Trillium. That and LDS.

Was that a reference to The Voyage Home?

I came to a similar conclusion, although this could all be coincidental.FaxModem1 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 21, 2019 2:06 am Okay, I think I see the pattern now. I mean it's hopefully true what he said in Fusion that he hadn't intended so many recent reviews to involve date rape analogues.

Right I forgot about the meat thing. Possibly because she seemed slightly more tolerant by the time of season 2.

Yeah, most definitely.

Re: Star Trek (Ent): Impulse
Episode aside, Chuck reminded me of Dear Doctor and since I'm too lazy to look put the episode on, and since the laptop was in front of me I watched that review and the accompanying Prime directive discussion. And that video reminded me of a young Obi Wan Kenobi on Mustafar. And the worst part is that with the exception of this episode and a few episodes dealing with Vulkan ofshots, The Vulkans, especially the one in ENT seem to be the kind of people that would wholeheartedly agree with old Ben Kenobi.
If Chuck or a mod reads this feel free do delete my account. I would do it myself but I don't seem to be able to find a delete account option. phpBB should have such an option but I guess this isn't stock phpBB.

That scene with the Vulcans literally holding Archer back had to be intentional.
