I should have posted about this earlier. To anyone trying to get into Classic Who, I have some great news.

What IS Pluto TV? I mean, I have Britbox, and that works sufficiently well for me.

A free ad-supported streaming service. No logins, just punch in 'pluto.tv' and you've got Rifftrax, Fox Sports, a decent selection of news channels, classic films, true crime shows, and soon, Classic Doctor Who on a continuous loop.

The big thing here is that it's Classic DW that is both free (with ads) and also not pirated.

Does it have the animated episodes alongside the episodes that have the live-action? I might switch if so. Britbox will not upload something like, say, "The Reign of Terror" serial even though it's complete, just some of it's in animation.

No idea. For all I know, they're starting with Pertwee. Which makes sense given all of the potholes in the Sixties Era.

Britbox is also pretty cool, and might - might, spitballing here - be cheaper than this, possibly?

YMMV. Pluto.tv is ad supported, so ''free'' in as much as you have to watch adverts in the stream. Britbox I think is like $6.00 so not ''free'' but without commercials (is my expectation, I don't have it).
