Those being wiped out by us, needs to change. Will it? How can we fight against institutional corruption and rotten and decaying power structures? It's slow going, but for every step we take forward, it really feels like we take two back, and all with a ticking clock, because we NEVER really appreciate the truly important things in life, the time we have left. Life is just so damned short...

Even close to me, I'm seeing fewer fireflies every year. Ecological devastation is reaching the point where it ceases to become some great big Save the Whales abstract and impinges on our daily lives.
