Radical leftists want to make everybody equal and right injustice by force, which is bad because it's ends justify the means thinking but still at least has a good intention. Radical right-wingers openly endorse an ideology that explicitly calls for the ethnoreligiously motivated genocide of millions if not billions of people, openly consider large groups of people subhuman because of the nature of their birth, and hero-worship the leader of the single most evil regime in human history.

It's pretty clear who's the lesser evil here.

I'm talking about censorship of gay marriage, and you bring up stuff generally associated with the left wing. Paypal? What does that have to do with liberal control? New Zealand is pretty left-winged, and is a blip on the radar and has nothing to do with anything going on in the world. Left wing isn't a conspiracy. Censorship is.

Well I'll agree that they're both forms of censorship. But if that's as far as you can evaluate each circumstance, just satisfying some old classic liberal tenant that's meant to protect your criticism of government -- and not to conspire to bomb a pizza shop -- then yeah I'll side with Tony Goldmark on the issue.

This wasn't a case where extremes were being juxtaposed. Paypal not doing business with an explicit haven for alt-right (or even just nationalists) isn't really extremism. Neither is preventing a racist slaughter from going viral for extremist propaganda purposes.
