Ironically that implies that voters are becoming more politically aware as statistically the bulk of self-identified centrists are uninformed voters.

Maybe in America based on you but I am not American. I am born and raised Finnish who is citizen of Finland were hyperpolarization isn't thing and we have more political parties than just two. I'm a center leftist, and I think both extremes are unpractical. I mean, I was pretty much a hard leftist until 2016, when you saw them doing things that turned my stomach. I'm not misinformed. I think the GOP is a pretty dangerous organization. But it got very depressing to me when the DNC proved they, like the GOP, would do anything they could to chase votes, even sell their soul. That said, I won't engage in hyperbole like both sides often do. Trump is a bad president, yes, but he's far from the worst. I honestly think Bush was worse. He single-handedly destroyed the optimistic future we had leaving the 1990s as well as the economic golden age and turned it into shit. No, Trump's true threat comes in what he's unleashing that will follow after him. Keep in mind, I was somebody who only a few short years ago was terrified if the GOP won, they'd amend the Constitution to stay in office longer, like they were accusing Obama, out of projection. Granted, the hard-liners probably still want that, the same way the hard-lefters want to radically seize the corporations and give them to the workers. Both are deplorable and need to be called out.

Yeah mixing up ties and dresses or deciding who cooks dinner vs who gets it means we get eaten alive by wolves and start committing acts of arson, you z-lister clown.
