Am I supposed to feel sorry for a soldier who gangs up on and murders or rapes women and children? I'm sorry, I'm not that soulless. And citing "men endure hardships in war" is damn near close to justifying taking that out on helpless civilians. I won't do that.

You guys prove precisely how this is still a male-dominated world. "We gotta focus on and feel sympathetic to the so-called pain of those guilty of crimes against humanity! Hell, perhaps insist they suffered even worse than their victims!" SMH

That also means any stat you have regarding women in war is also meaningless. You can't have it both ways.

I do. I disregard left and right-wing statistics both equally.

I mean, surely you yourself are not above admitting both sides are pushing an agenda?

Then how can I believe you that there is some epidemic of rape against women and children on battlefields if stats are meaningless? We are now left with anecdotal evidence only. And my anecdotal evidence as to why men suffer greater in war are all the crippled and mentally scarred men that come out on veterans day.

OK, boys. Lets play this game. At what point did I say any of that? Go ahead, go back, its right above you.
I said - and pay attention now - that the writers were deliberately making the male characters worse in both quality and diversity in order to make the female characters better. Which is a fact. Its a fact in Dr Who, its a fact in TLJ, and its a fact in Trek. The people behind these properties do not want equal characters, and if you feel like giving me some evidence of this, go right on ahead.
Wishing something were true to justify your insanity and prejudices doesn't make it a fact. All three of those franchises have currently have female leads. Yes, this was done on purpose to reflect changing and evolving times.

All three of those franchises also have great male role models and characters.

If that's something you're not prepared to handle because the idea of seeing male characters looking up to, being inspired by, or dare I even say it, learning from woman makes you feel emasculated...well that's on you.

And that's all I have to say on the matter.

Except Luke. But again, chalk that up to incompetence rather than being deliberate.

That's all you have to say on the matter because you don't want me to say that Ellen Ripley, Sarah Connor, Buffy, Scully, Lara Croft, Ellie from the Last of Us, Wonder Woman, Shadowcat, Heather Mason from Silent Hill and Leia are just a small pick of my favourite characters from media of all time.

It makes you feel better for me to be a sexist. Its a nice and simple label to apply to anyone who dares to criticise the agenda.

If it helps, I don't think you're sexist, you just have a different point of view. With that said, gender conflict like this is precisely why I want it gone. In a perfect world, it wouldn't matter. Btw, choosing Wonder Woman as one of your favorites? Um, yeah... I like her too, but let's not pretend that outfit is anything less than fanservice. Just saying. :)
