My God, you would REALLY hate the anime Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha... no, don't go look it up if you want to stay sane. My Latin American friend recommended it to me. I think it's outside your comfort zone.

I can see clearspira being uncomfortable with some other anime as well than just Lyrical Magical Girl Nanoha. For example anime adaptions of Senran Kagura. Those could be even more outside his comfort zone.

And there's no shame in that. We all have our comfort zones.

You've clearly seen MGLN, though. Who is your favorite character? Mine's Nanoha, though Arf would be a close second.

Thing is while I know about Nanoha I haven't watched it. I have been planning but I haven't found time to do that. Plus there are also some other anime that I still need to watch like Kill la Kill and Darling in Franxx and I already watch far too much anime.

You gonna check out the sub? I really hate the dub changes, tbh. But then, that's my own personal preference speaking. Fate/Stay Night is also great, but I love DEEN the best, for the character models, music, and ambient atmosphere. Plus I'm a sucker for the Shirou/Saber romance.

I do like Fate. When it comes to Fate franchise my favorite one is Fate/Zero but I also like Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works and I really want to see entire Heavens Feel movie trilogy considering how long I had been waiting for it's first movie.

Sadly, most people prefer UBW. Not me. The musical score is lackluster, the character models changed from Zero, and... ugh. It didn't have any energy, mystery, beauty, elegance, and beauty the way Fate did. I mean, poor look Rin looked deformed, and the route is supposed to be with her being the love interest?

I do find UBW (TV version not movie version) to be one of better made Fate anime but I do understand that it's not for everyone's taste. Over all while I do think that original Fate/Stay Night anime adaption is fine it seems little bit messy with it trying to include so many storylines from VN game alongside with Saber Arc. Something that lot of anime that are adapted from VN games do. Even Clannad that I like so much suffer from that.

The original Fate anime wasn't made for action, but that's okay, since the romance aspects drew me more. And at the time, they didn't even know if they were going to make more, so I understand their decision. To me, it only adds to the strength of the show.

Copyright laws are increasingly protective only for the largest corporations. It's completely out of touch with how people use media these days.

Legally, no. But this is one of those cases where money is more important than the letter of the law. If you can't afford to sue Disney, Disney can do what they want. Not many private individuals have that sort of money.
