Yeah because cheaper gas and cheeseburgers is much more important than mass flooding making the earth barely inhabitable for human life in a matter of decades. They choose to make giant smoke-belching factories and to lobby things so that the fines for massive pollution are less than the amount saved by polluting. i can recycle and bicycle till the cows come home and it won't change that.
