Alabama bans abortion

This is for topical issues effecting our fair world... you can quit snickering anytime. Indeed... it's frighteningly prophetic...

Remember, you can't be pro-life unless you're willing to provide for the child yourself. Otherwise any claims that you want to prevent their deaths are just really an attempt at controlling women.

Also, laws against preventing bank robbery are just to oppress people unless you're willing to give the would-be robbers whatever money they wanted out of the bank.

They really need to teach logic in high school.

Let me ask something for clarity's sake, Darth, are you actually opposed to abortion, or are you more interested in taking down left-wing talking points related to it?

The government and the church has no business regulating this past asking where it's gonna get funded.

There is reason why separation of government and Church is thing in western countries. Church should never be involved with setting laws for any country. Church had big part in controlling things in medieval Europe and to keep they power they held back science and progress while also having they hand in starting wars and doing other things like having witch trials. Those religious people that are for having government and Church together again at modern day western world pretty much want Christian theocracy were country is ruled based on they religion that is they brand of Christianity.

Well, the religious hard right doesn't want separation of church and state. They wanna teach creationism and the Bible in classrooms. Reject the "theory of evolution," which is really just fact at this point. Brainwash kids to worship Jesus - or they go to hell forever.

Honestly, that's not an either-or question, but most of my comments on this forum are the latter. A bunch of people preaching to each other not about an actual law but about what the politicians "really" are after and then using their own conspiracy theories as evidence is illogical.

Why? Because the only human involved can decide for herself?

Because it's a family matter, plain and simple. Church has no business preaching morals to us they refuse to follow themselves, and the government only gets a say in where to fund it, whether they want to or not. Other than that, let family planning stay with the damn family. Not value crusaders.

Child abuse is a family matter, isn't it? Should the government be involved in that?
