No, but calling it "radical Islam" is part of a political slant to paint a narrative that all Muslims are assholes. The key lies in the wording. If we're gonna call it "radical Islam," then why not call it "radical Christianity?" They've done just as much evil shit in the name of their beliefs, and like Muslims, the majority are not bad. "Radical Islam" is an attempt by religious bigots in the GOP to try and push the perception that most Muslims are bad. They know the most casual person would hear that, and so it takes root in your mind, and eventually you begin to think of them all as bad. Hell, look at how they opposed Obama on everything, calling him a goddamn "gay Muslim." Now, if he was a gay, or was a Muslim, that's fine, but... he wasn't, so it's character assassination, and racism and homophobia. I know lots of right of center people who try to argue Christianity was founded on something purer, more noble than Islam was, because Mohammed was a womanizer, rapist, married children, but then... is that so shocking back then? Hell, most figures who found a movement or a belief or an idea are hypocrites. Look at our own Founding Fathers. They insisted "all" men are created equal, except for women and other ethnic races, right? LIKE THEIR SLAVES. So in conclusion, "radical Islam" seems like an attempt to start a holy war by the religious right no different than those fanatical jihadists want. The same way their own fringe base like Dylann Roof wanna start a race riot and an ethnic purge. I don't understand how you can't see this.

If Christians embraced certain Muslim beliefs would those attitudes not be seen as bad and mocked as such by your tibe?
