Actually as far as the right's concerned, I'm not really sure the mindset is set on working for provided health care.

I wasn't speaking to that. When you said that, I thought I read that you said gun ownership was a right and healthcare is a privilege. I thought I read that he said wut? after that. Not sure what whu means.

Anyways what I was saying had more to do with the term privilege, as has been a thing with me. I recognize that the left wants indiscriminate healthcare provision, but describing the right's preoccupation with certain conservative mindsets towards provided healthcare (not flipping the bill for irresponsible life choices for instance) might not describe social privilege. I'm also not really seeing anything about working for stuff to be an (outright at least) privilege (as I was saying). Available work based on region can be a form, circumstances can establish advantage for particular groups of people, but I'm not finding much in the way of proprietorship (through work) to correspond to social privilege that strongly.

And my misreading, inability to manage the term privilege that well, and my response about Fuzzy has more to do that I don't feel particularly well at the immediate moment, so I'm more of the mindset to calm down on that now and collect.

Right to life is more essential than right to defense.

Defending your life is a big part of that. As far as medical care, it's not that it's viewed as a privilege, it's that it's viewed as a service, and one generally has to pay for those. But even if you want to view it as a right, my example still works, because while owing a firearm is indeed a right (like it or not), you do not get them for free and must still pay for them.
