Re: Feminism and history
I identify as Feminist, but as a ModFem. Not a RadFem. Difference. I think she/he was a RadFem.

Oh no, they exist. I just think they shouldn't. It's all meaningless.

Re: Feminism and history
It is meaningless. Unless you really think in base-gendered terms. What makes it different than racial differences, huh? Unless you think men truly are the new oppressed now rather than it just being a case where men and women both suffer equally in the world, but in different ways.

Re: Feminism and history
But, I will concede it is true I used to be a RadFem, the kind who'd go onto Twitter and say all men are the enemy (they are not) and who thinks women are better (they are not). I look back on those days with shame. That's a RadFem. Not who I am now. I've gone more to the center left than hardcore left.

The same holds for the majority too lol despite what "the left" says or does.clearspira wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2019 6:24 pmAs I am forever told, you cannot blame all feminists for the actions of the minority.
...
Mainly because I don't think it is the minority

Re: Feminism and history
Then why did you bring up feminism overall if you're talking about radical feminism?

Men and women are way fucking different.Yukaphile wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2019 7:34 pm It is meaningless. Unless you really think in base-gendered terms. Man don't get pregnant, on average athleticism gap of a man vs women is bigger than what you can speculate as athleticism gap between races...
If you say it's meaningless you are radfem.

Re: Feminism and history
That only applies to biology. Not intellectually or mentally. Emotionally, men and women are the same. Which let me ask you, if a woman rapes a man and she gets pregnant off it, is he a victim? I think he is, same way a woman raped who gets pregnant is also a victim. I'm not a RadFem when I literally acknowledge current misandry is the result of never getting a proper men's rights movement (even if men never needed it that way) which also ties into misogyny and the angelization of women. Misogyny, imo, is the same, ties into the strength and ability of men as well as misandry. If I'm a RadFem, how come I say this shit? I've met legit RadFems who think lesbianism is the way to go and will lead to a worldwide utopia for women. Dude, you need to expand your definitions of what RadFem is. It's radical to YOU because you're very right of center. I'm left of center. Difference.
