A reminder of the pre-existing 2020 election thread.

One recent poll from YouGov (Jun 2-4):

Biden 31%
Sanders 15%
Warren 12%
Buttigieg 10%
Harris 9%

Warren is touted as the wonk, but Harris also is policy-focused.

Polls means nothing at this point. The die-hard political junkies aren't paying attention. And we haven't even had the debates. Besides, the polls lied in 2016.

Primaries haven't really even started yet. Polls are only thing we really have to go on aside from people yelling on twitter.

Like, given Biden and Sanders' pasts, I will be VERY skeptical if they are the nominee. So take this with the largest grain of salt in the world, and expect them to change.

It doesn't say anything to that.

And the polls didn't lie in 2016. Hillary Clinton got more votes than Trump.

What I remember most is the polls and even Nate Silver's predictions being all over the map. It was wrong because people were lying about who they were voting for, because of the stigma of everyone involved, Sanders, Clinton, Trump, and because, of course, that the polls can be rigged or tailored to a specific question to push an agenda. I don't trust them.
