Lol Yet another theory I had after someone said her brain was wired differently: Hoshi Sato is an augument at least partially if not entirely. Since not all the people who are augmented are aggressive (Bashir is augmented and hes not aggressive normally)

Given the way she learns completely alien languages on a whim, including syntax and vocabulary, I'd rather argue that she's a telepath.

This is kind of an odd one but for me my head canon for the TV Series Castle (there are at least one or two implied Sci-fi/Fantasy elements so it totally counts) is that season 2's 5th episode is actually the finally of season 1 as it wraps up the main arc of Castle writing the first novel of Nikki Heat and then gets an offer to write even more NH's books, much to Beckett's irritation, and the two go off to solve another murder. To me that's a much more fitting finally for the first season and fits with the story of the show a lot better IMHO. Also that episode is the last time the original title card is used before it switches to the other one.

That was actually the direction I was going to go with her in my Foundations series. Just that she would be a relatively weak one and not consciously aware of it.

Well according to something on memory beta (take that with a grain of salt) there was a race of shapeshifting telepaths, if she was quarter or half of that species she might have had the telepathy at a low level but not the shapeshifting https://memory-beta.fandom.com/wiki/Ambimorph
