Here's an interesting one. In one corner, sex negative feminists who want to close down a strip club, in the other, sex positive feminists who want to keep it open. All citing feminism as the reason.
And people wonder why feminism has a negative reputation. Even they don't know what they want let alone those of us on the outside.

I mean, tbf, in any movement or political group, there's different factions and dissenting opinions. No singular organization or idea is truly united.

Nothing is monolithic.

Those that want convince that feminism is some how monolithic tend to do so because it fits they own agenda of making entire feminism seem bad. Same goes to doing that with any other ideology or political movement that doesn't match one that person or group that person belongs to happens to be against. Every ideology has some rotten apples but it's wrong to think that those kind of people are all there is and represent everyone else.

Monoliths are monolithic and I have a very orthodox opinion of that. In fact, it's one of the central tenets of my faith that this is the case, so I take great offense at your bigoted intrusion onto my belief system.

2010s feminism looks sillier than almost everything else based on my impression.Mecha82 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 13, 2019 7:25 am Those that want convince that feminism is some how monolithic tend to do so because it fits they own agenda of making entire feminism seem bad.
