Favorite SF Debris Series?

This forum is for discussing Chuck's videos as they are publicly released. And for bashing Neelix, but that's just repeating what I already said.

Favorite SF Debris Series?

Despite how great the rest of his series are, my favorite is still his Voyager reviews.

Aside from stupid Neelix moment and evil Janeway, I'm not sure what the difference is :(

I've admired the multi-part special videos a lot though. So I'm pretty sure that counts.

Tough call.
I really liked the series on comics. Making sure to tune in as soon as I was available to watch/listen.
But the review of Hogfather brings me to tears everytime I watch. Particularly when Death gives a little girl the gift of a future.

Voyager gives a good dose of good material for Chuck's style of reviews, with TNG not far behind (so I don't think it's entirely due to source material quality or lack thereof). Overall I usually enjoy the Voyager reviews the most I think.

Understandable if not for just the logical inference that that was what SF Debris initially reviewed exclusively.

It would definitely have to be his Dragon Age reviews. I think it's because while, say, the KOTOR/TOR videos are about a franchise where I've been knee deep in the lore since I was a kid, I knew very little about Dragon Age. So the reviews were a nice combo of exploring the intricate worldbuilding of a fantasy world, and dick jokes.

Plus they're longer videos so I must have played through them several times in the background while doing housekeeping or other chores.

To me it's his anime reviews. As some one who is huge anime fan and have watched lot of anime both during years and every year it's fun to hear some one who doesn't know much about anime review those while time to time being confused about what is going on.

The Background videos are almost always great, in particular Comics Empire and Star Wars, but limiting things to reviews of material?

Madoka definitely. You can tell Chuck really enjoyed stretching into new territory material wise and the show itself having so much meat to really dig into brought out some of his best (and consistently so) work.

And of course there’s the subtitles.
