How Long Should Seven of Nine Remained in her Borg Costume?

This is in relation to something Chuck had said in one of his character essays on Seven that he had wished that she had remained in her Borg costume for more then one episode and just have it where she gradually changed into human for most of the series as a conscious choice on her part. This is something I fully agree with and wished that had been the case for the actual show as I'm Not a big fan of her catsuit.

The question is, how long would she remain in said costume until going full human? For me I think it should have been most of season 4 her first being full Borg but episode by episode she loses a number of pieces of her "skin" as she becomes more human. At first it's just a few minor wires along with one or two plates of armor but soon after The Raven we see it become a bit more noticeable with whole plates of armor removed and her going to the Doctor to ask him for help in healing her skin.

Then in One after she has saved the crew and has been pushed to her limits she completes her transformation and emerges in her final look but in a proper Star Fleet Uniform which honestly looks a LOT better on her.

Thoughts?

Hmm. Me personally I'm just concerned with the context to which it's taken off. I get the impression that they wanted sexy mode from the get go, so that could explain the immediacy of it.

I guess aesthetically I'd want it to be gradual. Episode by episode what not, sure. But I'd want the casual eye to not really notice, then they bring it up maybe a season or two later when like probably half the people watching would have noticed or something like that.

As far as context, maybe I'd like it if it just coincided (loosely but directly) with her problems of becoming human. Not sure how much that goes without saying, but hell it's not like we got that unraveling anyway.

Removing it episode by episode sounds about right. Maybe they could had done it within 3 or 4 episodes.

I'll be honest, the borg suit and make up would probably be way too uncomfortable to keep wearing for all those weeks of shooting. So for the sake of Jeri Ryan, I'd take it away by the end of The Gift. I wouldn't put her in a catsuit though, because I have a soul.
