My third time watching the Rebellion review

This forum is for discussing Chuck's videos as they are publicly released. And for bashing Neelix, but that's just repeating what I already said.

My third time watching the Rebellion review

Post by MithrandirOlorin »

It just occurred to me the Lower Back pain comment is probably a joke on Mami's having the largest breasts.

I just recently started noticing this being a gag in other Anime related media, like in Doki Doki Literature Club.

Does it have any basis in reality or is it just something imagined by dumb men who have no idea what having Breasts is like?

No, it's real. A friend of mine had to have her breasts reduced because the weight was wrecking her back. A more famous example of this is Christina Ricci, IIRC.

A more realistic type of large, beautiful boobs Japanese anime loves that I think conforms to actual body types would be from Elfen Lied. Yuka simply has BEST BODY. And yet it's not overexaggerated, at all. She looks as if she could be a real-life girl.

Well female anime characters having oversized breasts is pretty much anime cliche. Some of those go to levels of unnatural when also considering age and size of character having those. Ecchi OVA Eiken is among worst offenders in this matter. Most of times (at least to me) it's easy to ignore as long as it doesn't go grotesque levels and Mami's doesn't go to those levels.

Yeah, that's why Yuka is Best Girl. She looks like a believably real human girl at that age, around the hips, waist, torso, and her bosom. Plus, best bum of any girl in Elfen Lied, even Lucy.

That's acceptable in Japan. Don't impose Western values on an Eastern society. As far as "values" go here, there's worse types of cultural relativism you could apply to them. Stop looking through your rose-tinted "Western" eyes and look at her. Yuka gets bashed so endlessly, it's disgusting.

It's true. She's widely hated among the fandom. Like Yuuno is among the MGLN fandom.

Even the Bible doesn't condemn relationships between Cousins, I have no tolerance for people who are squicked out simply by that.
