This doesn't surprise me at all and I doubt that it surprises anyone. Trump has proven many times that likes to run his mouth based on what he has so far said in social media. He is pretty much clown who was made President of the USA.

So at what point specifically does addressing issues in society warrant "go back to your country" as a response from not only the head of state but figurehead of nation as well?

He is just a president. A tiny little fucker constrained by the Constitution and the fact that the US is not being invaded by a foreign army.

I would say he has less authority than Bush and Obama had.

Under Bush, we launched 2 wars which killed somewhere in the neighborhood of half a million people, and cost the nation upwards of 2 trillion dollars, though of course neither war is actually over yet, so there's room for that to grow. Bush also gave us the Patriot Act, the TSA, and ICE, all of which have proven to be gifts that just keep on giving. By contrast, Trump's biggest policy shift has been a tax cut.

Oh, fair enough. It's just that I really do encounter people all the time who think that Trump is like, the worst President to have ever held the office in the history of our nation, and I find this belief honestly puzzling. I mean, I suppose most people can be forgiven for not really knowing just how bad some of our previous Presidents have been, but a lot of the Trump-haters I run into don't even seem to know what Trump has or hasn't done - they just know that he's the worst.

I think its because alot of people were turned off by things he has said about people of different nationalities and disabilities (my self included as someone who had a disability and has relatives of hispanic and African descent I found those things offensive)

Not even close. We're more than a year away from the election, and the political memories of Americans make goldfish look like scholars. Much can and will happen. But I certainly don't think this is hurting Trump in any substantial way.
