Getting Pelosi to knock off alienating the left for five fucking minutes can only help the Democrats maintain cohesion in their base, since secretly it's only the word "socialism" that's unpopular, not most of the typical Democrat Left policy positions, so that's a thing. Still probably not a real sea change, although I guess keeping any more of Trump's cabinet from resigning over the Epstein thing might be good for him.

Well I get what you were saying, and I think it's a good measure of prosperity to a degree (so try not to get me wrong),but I personally hate playing that game.

Pelosi is just looking at the last election. The Democrats won 2 Senate seats and 41 House seats.
