Let's discuss Family Guy...

Post by Yukaphile »

Who else here finds them utterly sickening? Too much rape jokes and gore. I left in 2011, and I'm glad I did. Stewie's brain coming open was the end for me.

Family Guy is what made me dislike Seth McFarlane and his brand of humor so I do share your opinion about this. And Family Guy is show that has been cancelled several times but given new chance after new chance when they don't give same treatment to actually good shows that they cancel. Yes I am still bitter about Fox cancelling Firefly because of they own incompetence.

I've run across some of their mindless defenders who sneer that people who hate it are just "triggered..." it's pure anti-SJW mindset. Mock a real-life psychological condition or people who aren't edgy, perhaps even clinically insane nutcases like you are...

I lost any respect I might have had for family guy after the ep where Peter was found to be retarded and they let him get away with everything.(As a person with a disability and has worked with people that actually are retarded this ep pissed me off)

I recently caught a clip where Peter Griffin ripped open his own FUCKING SKIN to turn into... Hank Hill. OMG... I felt embarrassed and horrified and wanted to die... it's discouraging so many people watch this crap.

IMO at least South Park time to time has some on point humor to make fun at celebrities and insane things going on when Family Guy just goes for "edgy" with it's humor.

Seen a few bits, the odd episode. I found it neither funny nor have I been particularly bothered by anything I've seen on it.

I enjoyed the first 4 or 5 seasons. Then the show kept relying on repetitive random madlibs jokes and anticomedy where peter would spend like five minutes trying to pick up a frog in a box and some guy named Conway Twitty would sing a song for another five minutes and half the episode is gone. I stopped watching around the episode where Brian and Stewie were locked in that bank vault and Stewie forced Brian to eat his shit. I mean why????

I would have said the opposite, actually.
