I ask because I watched it for the first time in many years recently, and I was shocked by it. Like, it felt like fan parody, trying to write an episode with chuck's reviews in mind. It's absolute ground zero for sexually confused Harry Kim, complete with dreams about his Grandmother scolding him. I watched and thought, "This could be a double length Chuck Review. This could be a Christmas review.
Yet in all these years Chuck hasn't done it. Why? Could it really be no one's requested it? I find that impossible to believe. This may be conspiracy mongering, but I have a theory that Chuck might see doing a video review for every single episode of Voyager ever produced as actually being an achievable goal for him, and he's saving a "big one" for his final review. If so, Favorite Son might be a good contender.
Do you think there's a reason Chuck hasn't done "Favorite Son?"

Really, he hasn't? I could swear he did.

It would make a good Christmas ep given as he is out of zeroes to review.

Is it sad I feel the most like I'm Harry Kim on the Voyager crew? No, really, everything Chuck says about him, and that I see, says yes, I am Harry Kim. Frightening.

As to the OP, he did a double-length review of "The Disease," so why not? That said, a "double-length" review nowadays just amounts to a single 20 or 30-minute sized one.

Harry Kim made it to space and is a commanding officer on a space ship. You, are posting on forums in the internet all day.

Want me to elaborate?

The stuff Chuck says about desperately needing any kind of "human contact" for Kim applies to me (though without the thrashing), as does the "just a dog chasing a car" attitude he ascribes to him. I've also been known to be as highly awkward as Kim was when insisting he could still remember his mother's womb (never said that, but the point remains). And while Chuck joked that he's into vore fiction, I am as well. Thus I would obviously embody the "sexually confused" category as well. So, there you go. Parody Harry Kim would be my spiritual animal.
