You're able to distinguish "disagrees with me" vs. "the most despicable, vile people I can think of." It's a subtlety that's frequently lost on one side of the fence.

I hate overzealous SJWs as much as the next guy. But I hate modern 'right-wingers' even more. I used to respect the Republican party. But now they have been overtaken by the alt right (or at least they have few qualms about pandering to them).

Is anything about keeping border secure pandering?

Specifically, do you think "We have strengthened border security beyond what many believed was possible. We now have more boots on the ground on the southwest border than at any time in our history," is pandering to the alt-right?

This is what I have been saying several times. Both sides are equally bad but often alt right is actually worse than what they claim to be against and have become same but just for they political ideology while thinking that they are better than everyone else while calling everyone that doesn't agree with them with certain terms to belittle and make opposing opinions seem invalid. Different side of same coin so to speak.
